Impressionist Vision: Birth and Descent

The Château d’Auvers-sur-Oise: a new scenography

The new tour of the Château d'Auvers-sur-Oise retraces the history of Impressionism from its birth to its heirs. The scenographic approach is that of an immersive visit to the painting.

From Paris to the light of Auvers-sur-Oise, the 60-minute tour highlights the major artistic figure of Vincent Van Gogh and the painters who stayed in the Oise Valley: Corot, Daubigny, Pissarro, Cézanne, etc. The tour ends with a dialogue between Monet and abstract artists of the 20th century, heirs of Impressionism.

Production: Funny Frame
